Still Here...

...bear with me. I'm writing my account of the month travelling with Diane.

Two islands, 1500-plus photos. It's a big job.

All will be explained. Hope you all are well.

1,500 pics! ugh! I know what that's like.
You pre-write entries! Consarn it! No wonder the writing comes off so well. I always try and first-draft them right in, and the constant re-editing is torturous.
Looking forward to new chapters.
Later KiwiDawg.

Your attempt to disprove the fact that New Zealand is full of sheep is valiant, but I'm not convinced.
I'm well aware that for every dog, cat or cow pictured, there are 45 sheep lurking just out of camera range.

You best be careful, the sheep lobby is powerful and relentless, and really should not be trifled with.

Baa be praised!

Drew - great job on the Memory Lane pages... so many things I'd forgotten about...

Is it such a good idea to take home every stray dog, cat, and cow that you come across?

Hi Drew,
Yeah, we went kind of photo-happy. I'll just pick the best for my purposes, but even still, thinking of the tedious and not-always-succesfull process of downloading them onto Blogsot is daunting.

You've been doing great stuff on Mindwrecker! Very fun to read. I see we ran in overlapping social circles. Funny how, in such a small town, we didn't know each other, or know of each other's bands.

Mutton- You want sheep, you'll get them. But you won't see them licking anyone's hand. They run from you like- well, like you're trying to kill them, or shave off thier hair and set them loose in the icy wind.

You also won't see photosof them taken from behind. It's disgusting. How does the sheep lobby defend "dags"?

Evan,

The only animal that was in danger of being lifted, like a hotel towel, was Tashi, the cat that Diane's holding. Near perfect in tactility and personality...
